2010 Time marches on.

2009 What a great year. Geez.

2008 This year is drawing to a close. This was certainly a year to remember. In March we celebrated the 50th Wedding Anniversary of Larry and Renate Hettinger with a cruise on the Carnival Valor. What a great time! Mushroom season was great and some found more then others. David graduated from High School as well as Lauren (where did the time go). I am sure I am missing something (let me know). Wishing everyone a Happy New Year!

2007 Well this year went just as fast if not faster then 2006. As I look at the pictures, I am reminded at just how many things took place this year. If I miss something, please let me know. This year was a hunting year. For all the hunting stories visit the hunt page. In March Madeline won first place in an ice skating championship and she was baptized on November the 24th! Dean got his dream job in May as a Motor officer and on June the 29th, Tony graduates the Ohio Department of Natural Resources as a Wildlife Officer. David goes to his first Prom and gets his first car and first job! So as you can see, a lot has happened in 2007!

2006 This year went by so fast and it seems that they get faster and faster. This year enjoyed the first ever Family Reunion for many in the Hettinger and Saxton families. There were also other firsts, such as Lillian's first day of school ever, our first annual rocket launch up at Jenni and Deans, and some of our family members participating in the Extreme Makeover Home Edition TV series in Columbus, Ohio. And personally for me, let's not forget my first Ohio State Buckeyes game with Dean! A year to remember...

2005 Looking back on 2005, it seems that it was one of the winter's when we actually got snow. It was the first year that Dad, Dean and myself made it to the Deerassic Classic in Cambridge, Ohio. And for Hildegard and myself, it was the first year that we went on a cruise, and hopefully it won't be our last. - Lawrence

2004 This year started out with Owen Price Hettinger's birth. It was also a political year, in which President Bush was re-elected and as you can see some satire with the Kerry waffle face. And of course, some new and old pictures of the family.

2003 A sad year for many in our family with the passing of Forest Hettinger (my uncle). As luck would have it though, a rare picture of four of the brothers together. There are only five months of pictures for this year, (site got started April, 2003) and it wasn't until August that I started the "Picture of the Month" feature. - Lawrence
